The Honda Accord and Civic Land on Car and Driver’s 10 Best List for 2019*

Here at Garber Honda in Rochester, New York, we already know just how amazing the Honda Accord and Civic are. If you still need a little convincing, you may want to take Car and Driver’s word for it. The famed car-centric magazine just named the 2019 Honda Accord and Accord Hybrid, and the 2018 Civic Hatchback Sport, Si and Type R to its 10 Best list for 2019*.

The new Honda Accord and Accord Hybrid have been smash hits since hitting showrooms in 2018 and 2019, respectively, so it’s no shock they earned this honor. The 2019 Honda Accord carefully combines fuel efficiency with performance with its two engines, a thrifty 1.5-liter and a potent 2.0-liter, and it does all this while looking far more elegant than its price tag implies.

The 2019 Honda Accord Hybrid rolls in boasting gas and electric propulsion units that combine for 212 total horsepower while turning in an EPA-estimated 30 mpg in the city and 38 on the highway*. Not only does it sip gas, but the 2019 Accord Hybrid is supremely comfortable and loaded with all the latest tech.

The three sportiest Civic models also caught Car and Driver’s eye: the Hatchback Sport, Si, and Type R. The Civic Hatchback Sport delivers 180 horsepower and a distinct appearance, but the big dogs are the Si and Type R. The 2019 Civic Si comes as a coupe or sedan and cranks out 205 horsepower from its 1.5-liter engine. The Civic Type R comes only as a hatchback and pumps out a wild 306 horsepower. No wonder these models eared Car and Driver’s blessings.
